The PPE Membership Process
How it is works:

Register your organization (including the EIN)

We will send you a contract that will explain our process and policy regarding mandatory reporting, please electronically sign and return the form.

Donate to our mission (pay what you can afford, we do not want cost to interfere with the protection and prevention of children)

We will send you a blank form for to list your all staff members and volunteers and their emails

We will send each staff member and volunteer a contract for them to sign and return.

We will send a form requesting current address information and a photo ID.

We will contact you to verify their name matches their photo ID matches**

We will submit their name and email to our third-party background check vendor who will run each staff member and volunteer through

the E-Verify process to ensure their identity is accurate*

a nation-wide criminal background check

If one of your staff members or volunteers appears on the Sex Offender Registry or has a criminal background with 'sex crimes' or 'crimes against children', we will:

Notify you regarding our findings

Notify the National Tip Line

Our third-party background check company, will send you a full report of our findings regarding your all of staff and volunteers

Non-disclosure: We understand that many people have a past that they are not proud of and PPE Kids has no interest in any offenses that do not pertain to children. PPE Kids has no access to view other criminal history.

We’ll help you tailor our Child Protection Policies for your Employee Handbook. Implementing them ensures you're proactively protecting children, reassuring parents, safeguarding your church’s mission, and potentially reducing insurance risks.

* Sex offenders are known to move around the country and change their identity to gain access to children.

** At this point you may experience what we call runners, they may disappear because they don't believe in what you are doing or they may have something to they wish to never be found out.
